Cpp gaming and making of software

First you've got to learn the language, and that starts off with making simple programs and such in the language of your choosing. This can be a daunting task in itself, so it's good to find some online tutorials to get you going, and go from there. If you're interested, I'm also in the same boat in that I'm looking to start a programming project soon, but I'm not quite sure what I want, but I'd like it to be some sort of game. Maybe we could get together on this one and I might be able to help you learn, and having someone to teach might give me the ambition to push myself forward as well. I've got access to a number of resources to learn, so this could be good.
