How thoughtful are you?

In your own beliefs or in the religion you were in, before or after christmas, do you think about your loved ones who were dead and visit them to greet and remember them on christmas day? My grandma always lit candles at the grave of our relatives who passed away, not only on November one or two, but on the day before christmas as well to show them that they are not forgotten on christmas day. Now she's gone as well but not of her generations visits her grave during christmas day, so sad we were not that thoughtful as what she were.

Hi lovelyvelle, Traditions change from one generation to the next and it's true that many today are not as thoughtful as past generations. Your grandma was a very thoughtful person and that is the way she was raised. In the future our children may have their own way of remembering. Blessings.

Yes, that's it! It's sad nowadays that sometimes don't appreciate their generations tradition anymore. Not many people even knew, met or recognised their relatives like cousins, Aunts and Uncles or grandparents. And some of them don't even know where is the grave of their loved ones, traditions changed so quickly in this modern world.

That's great to hear. It's been a long time since I visited my loved ones even to my dad's grave, but still think of them thought. Sometimes I even had nightmares because of too much thinking about them, wishing I could visit them whenever I want but it's not easy. Merry christmas and more blessings to all of you!
