We don't like fish a whole lot, so it isn't a part of our usual menu. I might make fish sticks for the kids a few times a year. We may also get fried haddock sandwiches from a fish fry place once or twice a year, but other than that, we are not big on fish. I just don't like the taste of it much.
Do you like fish? How often do you eat it?

I LOVE fish ... unfortunately my husband not that much and our son only fish sticks!
So it is always annoying when I have to prepare fish
Ideally I woudl like to eat fish at least once a week but more often than not I end up with only once a month :(
It;s a pity because fish is full of so many good things, I guess I shoudl try to enforce it more ... but it is so annoying when you spend time cookign soemthing and then they all end up eating a sandwich instead:(
There is only one hubby likes a little and it is salmon ... unfortunately it's not the cheapest one either!! Ah ah ..men ....lol

My husband is the pickiest eater, and won't eat much of anything. But I'll go ahead and make dishes I want anyways. Sometimes I force him to try a bit of it, sometimes he'll eat a small bit on his own, and sometimes he'll skip it all together. I have finallly gotten him to like meatloaf. I had to compromise a bit. I used to make it with ground turkey and he absolutely hated that. So now I make it with ground beef and he still didn't like it too much, but he ate a small bit each time I made it anyways. Well the last time I made it he ate a large piece and wanted more!
I do force the kids to eat whatever I cook, like it or not. If they don't eat it they go hungry. I don't like picky eaters.

We eat things from the ocean fairly often.. once every week or two.. tonight we are having fried halibut fillets and brocolli with melted cheese on top. mm sounds delicious. we also like to have lobster, and scallops. . scallops are my favourite.. I wont eat fish sticks.. that fish isn't fresh number one, and you have to be careful what kind you buy.. some of them are not realyl fish at all.. or a bunch of differnt kinds of gross fish parts minced up together. YUCK. I guess i am lucky i live on the ocean and have seafood fresh out of the water.

I don't like fish, and I don't eat any seafood with the exception of tinned tuna. It's something about the smell of fish which turns me off, which is why I will eat tinned tuna as it seems to be missing the 'fishy' odour.
I try very hard not to allow my prejudices to colour the children's perception of food though, so they eat fish when we're out. I don't really cook it at home, simply because I don't really know how to.

I do not care for fish either. But it is a weekly meal item. Because it is healthy and I get tired of chicken all the time. I have to put a lot of tarter sauce on it to cover up its flavor. Without the sauce I do not think I could take it. I have learned a few ways to cook it that makes it much better. And I choose Tilapia a the primary fish because it is not as strong flavored.

We don't have fish that often either. We like it but it just isn't something we think about making all that often. Our favorite is haddock or fish similar to that. We buy it at the grocery store and then bake it in the oven with butter and garlic. We also like fish fillets. I'm not crazy about fish sticks though so we barely have them.

We don't ever have fish at home anymore. Used to have it lots. But, when we go to this certain BBQ place near us, my husband gets BBQ and I get the Catfish plate. It is delicious! We also used to buy a fish sandwich when we went out and haven't had that in a long time. Maybe it's time we changed back! I usually get a chicken sandwich when we go to a fast food restaurant. I do love fish! We used to go on a fishing trip every summer and in the fall. We'd spend 2 weeks with our kids at the Dam and fish and cook and eat fish like it was going out of style! It was some good eating!

Love to fish, always have I just don't get to much anymore; On my Father's farm
we raise our own Catfish and have for years, We have a nice sized lake there on it
and besides the Catfish there are Bass, bluegill the usual mix; Plenty of stinking
turtles too, snakes I hate snakes!! I've got some pictures of it, I'll have to dig them out sometime soon and post about it; Since my car accident You'd be surprised
at how painful it is to try and fish now, casting out is not the problem its hauling
in those 3 lbs and up Catfish by the time I catch my second one or maybe the first
one depending on its size My back will start screaming in pain so after maybe
3 or 4 fish I've caught my body is done; And what's worse is to dress them out
( skin them) so here I am with my body all messed up and my 81 year old FAther
and all of his health problems, Lordy me it takes us quite awhile these days
to do it,but we do we catch enough to last us all winter long; Personally I could
eat fish several times a week, but its too painful for me anymore; WE always
fry ours, I know not the healthiest but its damn good; damn good!
in fact I have a squidoo page made on my catfish LOL! Got pictures too!
You can find it if anyone is interested in my profile go to my website go to the
page of where it says my articles written, and you'll see the post/link on squidoo.
Love love love Catfish!!! its the best!

I would like to eat fish everyday in different kind of cooking and some fishes which can be eaten raw with a vinegar and spices as well. Since I had been here in the UK I only have fish every friday, which is called fish and chips I think it's fattening because of the chips and I am gaining weight now even I work very hard. I am a seafood lover.

Fish are really healthy, they keep your hart working well. I heard people should eat fishes about 3 times a week. I do not like fishes very much but I when the fish is prepared well it can be delicious. I love grilled salmon with baked potatoes. Or also salmon lasagne are great tasting. I think I will try to eat more fishes in the future I really believe they are healthy to your body.

I am like you... I don't eat fish very often, I will eat it, I don't even have anything wrong with eating it. It tastes ok, I just would rather have the greasy pizza or something.
