I turned blue yesterday...and really enjoy my time reading reviews there when actually i was very disappointed with the change recently. Now, i think i will continue with it just like i do here at myLot. I feel grateful...i already received my $50 payout from them,my earning during $1 per review...good enough for me!

I have a question for you, since you are blue and seem to know your way around Ciao. Do our community ranking colors affect our earnings? I am still white, and probably won't keep writing reviews there now that they don't really pay much, but I see a lot of people rating other peoples' reviews quite a bit. The only reason I can guess for them to do this is that they get points toward the next level, but I don't know if that pays more or not.

I am not sure about that too, but let think about it this way...my point(community ranking) increased after i increased my reading, rating and comments. More reading, rating and comments on other reviews my earning also increased. So to me overall the community ranking does effect our earning. Let hope others view on this. Thanks

community ranking color does not affect the earnings, however take it does affect your community exposure at ciao.. Below questions are taken from ciao help desk.I hope this will enlighten you with your perception on ciao community points.. What advantages does my Community Point Level have? A member's Community Level is a rough indicator of how experienced a member is. Members with a high Community Level are, therefore, more likely to have their reviews read and rated and to be invited to join other members' Circles of Trust. You must have attained a certain Community Level before your picture can be displayed in the "Featured Member" box on logged in Ciao pages. This extra exposure is good publicity for you and can lead to your reviews receiving more reads and ratings. Can I earn money for collecting Community Points? No, your Community Points do not translate into money and your Community Points balance does not have any direct relation with your monetary earnings on Ciao. However, if you are an active member, then your earnings are likely to increase in parallel with your Community Points as you earn money for reads, for inviting friends, participating in surveys, etc.

yah, the earnings per posting review is a lost most of us members. But i think there are other ways to earn at ciao as long as you do the right thing.yesterday I was surprise that I earn around $9 just in a day..For me, I'll keep posting reviews that are worthy enough to read and rate other member's review...If other people fail to see my point that we can still earn at ciao, its their lost..I'm only sharing what i experience.Good luck to you.

At least at this time, the site is going back in shape for making quality reviews an articles. Indeed there are a lot of good reviews and what everyone is doing right now is to make a quality and good review. I just hope we all received what we got from November reviews in the coming days because it would be a big earnings.Anyway, I just made 2 reviews yesterday and my first in since my last 4 in November.

Hi ik4man.. Yeah ciao still is a nice site though they remove their pay per review payment. You can still accumulate community points but that points has nothing to do with money. It's just your point from being active there. Although ciao didn't pay per review now but I heard that they still pay all the ratings we get there from other members. I am using my same user name there. Add me there and I will rate your reviews and kindly do the same with my reviews. We can continue to help each other there. Have a nice day.
