Are you getting frustrated with mylot?

I have had problems at times, it seems real slow. I will check other sites and they are faster, at first I thought it was my computer. When I see that it is slow after I type up my respnose I will copy it just in case I have to redo it. Sometimes I will just save my email notification and try back later to see if it works any faster for me.

Hi Deb_place, Yes that has been happening to me as well and its so annoying when You've respond to a discussion and post, but all it did was give me a blank page and I had to type it out all over again, its getting very annoying, I'm not happy. Tamara

I did have some problems with page loading for so long that I gave up. My Internet connection was great for all sites except for Mylot.

It's been fine for me today. I've started discussions, responded, added photos to interest groups and have yet to have a problem today. This comes and goes as in ther past I've had the same issues you write about. But today myLot is my friend it seems. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Well as a matter of fact i did have a problem with mylot.I was answering a discussion and all of a sudden it just went to a lot of other discussions right in front of me,so i was unable to finish my answer.This has only happened to me one time .I have not been too active the last 2 days.I just thought it was me...Glad to know its noy just Me..

My computer is loading up slow with anything I try to do it's not just mylot. I am doing a run scan on it now and it's detecting things so maybe after the thing runs it's course and fixes the problem perhaps it will run better and not so slow. May you have luck with yours and it improve for you.

I have not had any problem with MyLot at all. It could be your computer or browser. Have you had your computer checked lately? For viruses or spyware? If not, you should as soon as possible. I am sorry you are having problems. I hope your problems clear up really soon.

I am not having the frustrating trouble you and some others are having. My complaint it that for about six months now, there are at least four of the people on my friend list whose discussions don't come to my inbox anymore. I can't be sure if there are more people whose discussions I'm not getting. I have too many friends to go through the list and find every day, so I depend on the notifications.

I haven't had that problem yet. It is still working smoothly for me, but then again, I haven't been here that much lately - that might be it :) However, when I have problems accessing a site I usually go do something else, either on the computer or just get up and read a book or something. I don't have much patience LOL

I have been having the same problems. But I am not a very patient person, so I will move on to something else, instead of waiting for the page to load. I must figure out the key to being patient.

Now the loading is perfect for my lot, but from time to time these problems do occur and most of the time they are with mylot only. But (touchwood) now it's fine. If the problem persist, then I have other sites also where i visit, so I pass my time there. Thanks.

Yes! this is the fourth problem today I have come across. I hope MyLot are reading this. First it is with tags not working for some. Then someone is not getting notifications about their friends started discussions then theres me with going back to TWO discussions I have replied to and tagged only to find my replys are not there. HONEST. Now there is this, but I thought my PC was playing up just, but now I no its others also. MyLot we are having problems today. Please can you help us and fix these for us for tomorrow. not really i have faced not much problems mylot. occasionally it becomes slow, and may be it is because of bad connection of my internet. and i had always been happy with mylot. the only thing that troubled me my lot is that the earnings ratio is too low. and i had never got a best response so far. i have been a member here for about a month or so.

Yes it is real problem faced by every mylot user but mylot has large database so it takes time to load and what to do we have to this like this only even if we try in fast connection same is the problem if i type 4-5 line and posted them it will not get posted so i am also feeling the same problem

Several hours ago I had this exact same problem and it is very frustrating I agree. At the time I just "gave up" and did some other work .. not on the internet that is. I initially thought the problem was my internet connection just having one of its "go slow" days. But then when I checked out a couple of other sites, they loaded without a problem or much faster that myLot was. With a dial up connection there are times when it can be really slow but today ws much slower than normal. I just figured out that my time was better spent that being able to post maybe 5 or 6 in an hour. Now I am hoping that myLot will be much faster right now as it is early morning in the U.K. and U.S. whereas it is now only 7.30pm here in Australia. I have never found anything that helps when myLot is so slow. At least there is nothing else on the internet and that is generaly when I will find some work to do outside in the garden or packing sheds or whatever. Oh I just thought maybe my partner is chanelling all her thoughts wishing myLot will go slow so I do these chores. lol

I have experienced the same as you have experienced. But, right now, am not encountering that problem anymore. When you have written on the discussion box, try to copy them. So that when your page is ok, then you could just paste them. That's what I do to make sure I have not wasted the idea and effort of doing the same discussion or response again.Hope I made sense on this one.

Hi There! Well, I know how you feel. Last week, I was in my friend’s house and decided to browse mylot site then responds to some discussion. It was weird because the page won’t load at times and when I respond to a discussion it will give me a “time out error”. There are lots of cool and interesting discussions at that time but I would have to pass because the site is not working for me… Fortunately, I never experience it again. Maybe there are lots of traffics that time to the site that is why it’s kinda crawling but not all the time. Thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting and Happy Holidays!!! Cheers!

Yup besides the problems in loading etc. What annoying is the more it becomes unclear on how much you are paid with each participation here. I really can't understand why on some days I earn very little despite the number of posts I do and the discussions I start.

That is frustrating, I've had it happen on several occasions. It helps to go to "tools" select "internet options" then "delete cookies" and "history". You will have to restart your computor after you do this but it always helps speed things up for me. Hope it works for you too.
