What Does Your Christmas Wrapping Paper Look Like?

My daughter wanted some pink Hannah Montana Christmas wrapping paper this year and since I have a son too, I didn't want to just have pink wrapping paper under the Christmas tree, that wouldn't be right. So I bought the Hannah Montana wrapping paper to wrap all my daughter's presents and I bought some blue Scooby Doo wrapping paper to wrap my son's presents in. I think both the wrapping papers look good together under the tree. Plus with them both having their own wrapping paper I don't have to use name tags and they can just look under the tree and know which present is theirs or not. I still haven't decided what wrapping paper I'm going to use for everyone else's presents, but I'm sure I will figure something out. So, what wrapping paper do you have? Does it have a cartoon character, celebrity, or design of some sort on it?

Great topic! I like to reuse gift bags from the previous year. I also like to get the brown bags from the grocery store and use them to wrap gifts in. When we use those the kids decorate them so they look pretty and umm shall we say creative when we wrap the gift! :) This year i am doing one a little bit different. My mom loves to do crossword puzzles so I am going to take some cutouts from the newspaper of crossword puzzles and glue them together to make wrapping paper. The gift will be a couple of crossword puzzle books. On the outside of the gift I am putting her name on there with alphabet cereal with a pencil by it. then I will attach a small baggie of alphabet cereal. This makes a pretty cheap gift and it is one that will be enjoyed for quite some time after Christmas!

I got red Dora the Explorer wrapping paper and name tags for my daughter and my son has some blue wrapping paper that has SpongeBob Squarepants on it. I got him some matching tags too. I also have some Disney Princes paper to wrap my niece's gifts in. I have several other papers from last year that I can wrap gifts for other family members in.

I know we picked some up last year when they were clearencing them off. I think we picked up Transformers, and Scooby-Doo. I'm not sure what else we picked up. I know we picked up 4 different roles, but I can't really remember all of them.

I like shiny things, so my wrapping paper is shiny... always... if I can find shiny and since green is my favorite color... It is Green, but not quite neon green. It has christmas trees on it and it Says Happy Holidays.... I looked for some that said Happy Holly days.... But of course I couldn't find that. So far I have wrapped 3 presents in it. I have about 12 to go. My mom's dad... bought a roll of wrapping paper that I used to call "Billy Bob". It was like a member of the family... It was under our tree every year. It was a roll from a department store and it still hasn't ran out... I'm 26 and it was around long before me.. like 1970s.... maybe even 60s... Just think how much wrapping paper that actually had to be.....

My daughter does most of the wrapping so we get a variety.I come from a big family and when I was a kid I can remember our presents where always wrapped in news paper so my parents could save money. I was the youngest so most of mine where wrapped with "funny papers"

We have 5 different types of wrapping paper under our tree so far. 3 of them are from half rolls left from last year. We have green paper with red and green presents on it, red paper with Ho Ho Ho written all over it, blue paper with snowmen, more red paper with candy canes and my favorite is purple with white snowflakes.
I like to have lots of different colors and patterns under the tree. I usually pick it up from the dollar store for $1 a roll. I have never bothered to buy character paper becasue here it can cost up to $5 a roll. I'd rather spend the extra money on gifts and my kids don't seem to mind.

We have the Walmart or Sears standard Christmas paper, Santa on one, trees on another, snowflakes on one, Christmas balls on the other, and all on rolls. We usually use the Santa ones for Katie, and the other ones we use for the grown ups. And if the present does not fit, we use one of the gift bags that looks the most Christmasy, and put some tissue paper on top so to hide it.
I sort of like Christmas Trees and gold tinsel designs myself.

My Christmas wrapping paper is an ordinary wrapping paper made of think paper but it has lots of print on it like a santa and a tree and gifts, so the colors are like mainly green, red, yellow. It looks nice and can be easily torn apart and so my parents , brothers and sisters will not have a hard time opening my gifts to them. I have a gift for my niece using the same wrapper, I use the same wrapper for all and I got a Hannah Montana watch for my 2 niece because they all like Hannah Montana.

I'm actually trying to be environmentally friendly this year and not use wrapping paper.
1. I have these really nice gift card boxes my employer was going to throw away. I took them home and are using them for gift card holders this year.
2. I used a basket that I've never used to put a bunch of items together.
3. I might use old newsprint to wrap anything else.
4. we also keep last years Christmas cards. We cut the picture out and use it as a gift tag.
5. I also have a few pieces of ribbon that I can reuse.

Hi there Single Mommy. I have a big piece of Disney Princess for the Christmas wrapping that i plan to use especially for my girlfriends gifts. I also have some traditional wrapping paper (with gifts drawn on it) but that is not big deal.

I usually buy cute stuff. I don't go all fancy with bows and junk, but I let my kids pick it out every year. And then I just wrap till it is gone. I like to use it all that way i dont have to store it all year long.

For kids I usually choose wrappers with cartoon characters in them. They love to look at the gifts if they see someone they can easily identify with. For teens and young adults I usually use abstract designs and for "Mature" people, anything will do as long as its wrapped nicely.
I do love using recycled papers as gift wrappers btw.
