Does anyone use matches anymore?

i use it sometimes for the cooker...do you keep matches in your house?or it's all about techology now:)

i didnt use it till now....(very rarely i have used it)....as i dont know cooking n smoking whr it is mostly used....may use in future...i may start cooking or smoking......but not sure...

I only use matches to light candles, in kitchen I have an electric indution cooker, so I don´t use it in any other place.

ohh,i don't have that kind of cooker:)...and i use matches ,as for the candles..i use a match if i find one in that moment if not i get a lighter...but i keep matches in my house

Yes, we still use matches in my house. Sometimes the burner on the stove doesn't light and its too hard to use a lighter so we use matches. We also use them to light the hot water tank and the furnace if need be. Plus we keep some around just in case our lighters stop working.

i do have a couple books of matches in my purse...for a *just in case* thing..but i sure it sounds weird lol i love the smell of when a match is lit..havent smelt that in a good long while now...and this post reminded me of it lol
