It's been a long time Mylot, but I'm back with a vengeance. (At least for the next month.) So, in case anyone is curious I was off of this site for a while finishing my Associates Degree, now I'm headed to a four-year college to get a Bachelors in Psychology, and if all goes as planned I'll be headed off to get my Masters in another two years.
My doesn't time fly!
Anyway, the reason why I'm posting here in the health forum is because beyond trying to better myself mentally, recently I've decided that I need to get back into exercising. I want to get in shape, be fit. I'm still young but I don't feel that way because I spend so much time stationary. (Even if it is doing homework, studying, or working.)
So! I came across this neat podcast that some of you may have heard of. It's a running program intended for those who aren't into the habit of running on a regular basis, but would like to be. I ran in high school and enjoyed it, but got out of the habit. Now I'm going to try to work back into it. If you Google 'Couch to 5k' you'll get a site called coolrunning.com. I found an audio version for free by going to www.ullreys.com/robert/podcasts/podcasts.html
I'll keep you updated on my progress, if anyone wants to try it with me let me know, I'd love to keep tabs with you! (I'm going to start Week one tomorrow.)
