Is it harmful to color hair? / myLot

Making any chemical adjustments to your natural hair is damaging. But if you use the right products and take care of it your hair will look great and remain healthy. It’s quite an investment though, taking proper care of color treated hair.

I used some palnts to color my hair before; now I'm interested in using chemical ones...I'm not sure!

It all depends, how often you do it and how long you leave it on i think.

All right...My mom did several times and she is pleased; but I met some people who believe that it's harmful.

coloring hair certainlt gamages hair.. anything harmful to the natural hair certainly leads to hair loss etc.. may a few times wont damage it too much. but if u freq do that, it certainly will harm.

Once I coloured my hairs now I have more grey hairs, so I feel it is harmful.

It is harmful to your hair, it dries it out, but it's hair and it does grow back. Hair color can be harmful to you if you are allergic to it...if you haven't done it before or it has been a long time, I recommend you do a patch test first.
