religious fanatics

what makes someone become religious fanatics? why people cant tolerate differences from other religion? i choose coffe, my friend choose tea. Is that can make me hate my friend?

Grandpa_Lash has said it so well. It is when someone believes in something so intensely that they see it as they only way and everyone else is wrong and must be made to see the truth.
If they cannot be persuaded then they must be forced as they will see it is for their own good.
