Apparently, you'll be eligible for the premium fund if your review is rated exceptional. So even if a lot of people would rate your review as very helpful, you still won't have the chance to win the $20 prize. Well that's pretty sad. I do hope they'll make a better ratings system for this. How about a point system instead? For every rate that's exceptional, you'll get 5 points. 3 points for very helpful and 1 point for helpful. The reviews with the highest points will of course win the prize.

I think its trying to stop those who write poor, "instant" reviews who just wants to earn a lot of money. Its really sad that my earnings depreciated. I use to earn more than a dollar everyday but now, I only get an average of 40 cents. But still, I would go on writing for Ciao.

But they do pay for your reviews. As long as a lot of people reads your reviews, rates it and leaves a comment, you'd still money.

yaa i know if people rate and read your review you will make money.. but u will make very little. and people just dnt read and rate your reviews until u rate theirs. so now its a big headache to ask every1 to read and rate your reviews.

I think the main reason why the ciao admin decided on a premium fund is because of all those copied and not so quality reviews... there are a lot of them there... and they are getting ratings that they do not even deserve... The thing with ciao is that there is a "scratch my back... i'll scratch your back" thing going on... so even if one writes crap reviews... they will get very helpful ratings because that is what they do to others...

I am trying my best to give quality reviews... hope others will too... because that will benefit most of the members...

Yes i do agree with you, maybe that's the reason why they change thier system. Will as for those cases of poor review and copy paste and sabotage in ratings, i;ve seen lots of that happening there. So now if you are a serious and good in making reviews you'll going to earn from ciao.

It's a good suggestion of yours. But unfortunately the ciao admin do different creteria to choose the winner. And getting the exceptional ratings is a hard work specially when you are busy and so impossible to win that $20. Maybe if your friends rate your review exceptional maybe you have a chance to win. Me im slowing down now in ciao as im too busy sorting personal things. Happy posting.

Well, that is a pretty good idea. But the admin of ciao would probably think that there could be some conivance between members so that could be an impossible criterion. Well, I wonder how they will rate if the review is exceptional.

That is actuallya good suggestion. It would be actually unfair if you will not be getting any thing for writing. I know for you to get an exceptional rating, you have to write a very long review at the same very meaningful review. And foe you to achieve it, you have to think on what you are going to put on your review. I don't know if I'm going to continue working with the site.

Yes, its very time consuming if you really want to write an exceptional review. Its a challenge for someone such as me who is very busy. So far, I do earn from the ratings and the views and comments so I'm still happy with Ciao.
