I do get to read ebooks, too. Well, only when I cannot have any printed copy of the book. Oh yes, I do prefer printed books. Less typographical errors, I can read it over and over again without having migraine or eyestrain from too much exposure to the monitor and I also get to enjoy reading and rereading the lines I like. Besides, there are lots of books that I want to read which are not provided online and are only limited to buying the printed copy. I love books that much that I enjoy even looking at it´s covers. Ooo, weird. LOL

I guess it is different with other people. For me, ebook is not as convenient as printed books. As I have said, computers give me eyestrain or migraine with too much exposure to my monitor and I don´t find that convenient. I always try to finish my books within 3 (three) days or less, and I am always too hooked with my reading that I rarely fail. If I try and do this on my laptop, I´d sooner need to see an oncologist just to check if I had developed tumor from too much use and abuse of my sensitive eyes, LOL.

wow i dint know that when you read e books you can comment and make notes too... i think i should try that too but though i am from the next generation and stuff i still enjoy reading books the way they are supposed to be read and thats paper books not e books...i have heard that now all books you get to read online and it comes a lot cheaper than actually going and buying books and then letting them sit on the shelf doing nothing...i have also a major problem in allowing people to borrow books from me as they have never returned them to me.....
but i definately will try this e book thing!!

For those so called Copy Right concept,-- that's not really my cup of tea. I wouldn't share my ebooks with others because uploading an ebook is time consuming and the receivers might not really read it seriously.
Regarding the Copy Right(if that is what you are meaning to say) -- information and knowledge is power and it should be free for everybody.

Adobe Enterprise Edition provide many handy functions. Sometimes I do my homework inside the ebook too. But, if an ebook publisher don't allow you edit his book, you can't save your notes. It's frustrating. But most of ebooks allow editing.
I dislike people borrowing printed books from me too. Books I bought are my favorite and they are not just a book, there are something more in the book since they come to me.
Also, I dislike people asking me to send them a copy of my ebook.

I will always prefer the printed word over ebooks. My reason is much the same as yours, I like to take notes and make comments as well. Plus, I just like the feel of a book in my hands. I like turning the pages, the sound of the page turning, the way a books smells, etc. I would miss all of this.

yes, actually, i prefer printed books than ebooks. my eyes hurt easily when i'm reading on a computer's monitor and printed books are classics. they're my collection, someday i wanna have my own library, a whole room full of books. i just think that amidst of the technology nowadays, let's not forget the traditional things that we've grown into.

Yes, there is something about reading a real book that can not be duplicated by e-books and other media. I know itis cheaper to do e-books, but I love to have something physical in my hand.
