How do you deal with someone suicidal?

Someone very close to me has been handling a lot of pressure lately and he thinks that he can't deal with it anymore. The last time we talked, he said that he may kill himself one of these days just to end all of it. How do I deal with him? What do I saw to him? I get tongue-tied every time he jokes about it.

Some of the people who are emotional depressed really joke about ending thier life. Some of them are not serious but some they are really doing it. So you better to explain to him life is so beautiful and meaningful and try to help him about it.

I have been trying to explain that to him but he's too hardheaded. And you know what's worst? The guy is my boyfriend and we are living far away from each other right now because of work. He said if I want to stop him then i should go and buy a plane ticket and go to him.

Oh dear that's very difficult as he is your boyfriend. He's so mad to do that and tell you any threats. I think he is very obssessed of you that's why he is acting like that. His crazy! Maybe he wanted you to feel guilty and worried so that you do whatever he wants. That happened to my friend, he is just kidding, his hopeless! Just talk to him properly. Good luck
