Hi everyone! I received a check in the amount of $3800 to "evaluate" 2 companies and then send a money gram in the amount of $2100 and $800. Nevertheless, I didn't do it. With all the scams out there these days I didn't want to chance the check bouncing on me!
So be careful out there with all the alledged claims to get paid fast etc....they are more than likely scams. Please be careful!

Wise move meredith. If sometghing pops up in our lives that seems too good to be true, then 99 times out of a hundred then this is exactly the case! There is always someone somewhere trying to con us out of our hard earned money and they will do absolutely anything to achieve this. The sad thing is that many people will not have been as smart as you were and will be taken for a ride as a result.

I have got stuff like that before. I wish i still had scam emails to share. That would be a good discussion. I have had three in the last five months. I probly already deleted them though.

My check was for $4,989.00. When I saw that it included sending money to various places, I realized what the scam was and threw it in the shredder. It's a pretty slick scam, though. Probably a lot of people fell for it, especially with funds so tight and the holidays here. I hope nobody did get ripped off, but we know they would!
