my 4 yrs old daughter went grocery with me today.everytime we went out she has her own barbie handbag and her own wallet but if she wants to buy something we did not let her to use her money.she is our coins collector. in the shop i was shock that she bought shampoo for a gifts for me on christmas.when i saw her the casher was helping her to count the coins for the payments of the shampoo.when i ask her and she said its a gift for me i could cry.its amazing whats in her mind.so now the shampoo is wrapped, its not properly but its wrapped.

What a sweet story. Who do you think she is learning to be so sweet and giving from? Good job, mommy.

That is so sweet that your little one wanted to get you a Christmas present. That is a real sweet gesture on her part. It would bring tears to my eyes if my kids would do that to. I am happy for you.

ya thts really sweet. If children starts caring for their parents at this small age then there will be plenty of repect, love, care to her heart for u in the time to come. I also think being a girl she got this caring nature by birth.

Oh, how very, very sweet!!! It's just a miracle how our babies can touch our hearts in the sweetest most softest ways. They touch us in places that are unreachable by anything or anyone else. When I read this, it reminded me of times past with mine when they were that age. Everything they say and do is so real and pure at that stage. Try to always stop and really cherish the moments like that one with her for as long as you can. They seem to grow up so quickly and those moments seem to vanish right along with them. Enjoy!
