Have encountered a large customer who ask for high value samples

Have you encounted a large customer who ask for free smaples? I encounted one.
Now is our time mid-night 1:03. I still awake because I wait for his reply, a new customer. It is really a large customer. But he allows me to give him 20pcs free samples and freight free too. The total cost equals with my bottom salary. How can I boss accept it. The bad things is that we still not know if they will order us after they received samples.

I don't really deal with our customers directly but I do get a lot of free stuff lik e pens, coffee mugs, stuff like that. I am always bringing things home for family, friends and neighbors when we get new things that come out.
