Well, the England VS India 2008 test series is going to start tomorrow and this test series contain only 2 matches. The first test match is very important for both the team. And any team loosing the first test match in this series, do not have chance to win the series. Because, technically, this series contains only 2 test matches, the loosing team of the first test match can never win the series. The best they can do is to try and draw the test series by winning the second one. So the first test match is important. How crucial do you think its gonna be? Share you thoughts guys.

I agree that first match will decide the series. There are also many doubts on weather the second match will happen at all?
1). Mohali has not yet been accepted by ECB as a save test venue.
2). The threat of rain is hanging over mohali.
3). History says that at this time of the year we get only six hours of sunlight at Mohali.
All the above factors indicate that it may be difficult to force a result, which means that the team winning the first match has won the series as well.
