Have you ever stayed up the entire night while reading?

I recently read Debt of Honor by Tom Clancy and it was so unputdownable (if that's a word) that I stayed up till 7 AM just to finish it which I did. Have you ever come across a book you couldn't let sleep get in the way of? If so do post the title so all of us can enjoy it too.

Yes, I have many times. But, It all depends on the book. Normally I don't read any horrer/thriller books at night, dure to tha fact that they give me nightmares. O.o

I have done this on many occasions! I'll be reading along and before you know it, it's almost time for me to get up!

Everytime I tried to read any book I have, I usually find myself falling to sleep at night and waking up in the morning with my book. There would be times I would sleep through reading in the middle of the night and waking up in the early morning.

Hi there! Yes, I did experienced the sae situation. As I can remember that was the time that I am reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I started reading the book from 6pm and I decided to stop reading when it's already 5am. I am very excited of the story that I even done reading the first half of the book. Since I am a very avid fan of harry potter I never regret that I went to school at 7 am on the same day feeling so sleepy good thing I wasn't able to fell sleep during our class discussion.

I've only done that before when I've had to get reading done for class and it doesn't matter how much I don't want to read it, if I have to read homework stuff I'll stay up really late for it. Otherwise, no book is good enough to make me miss out on sleep. As it is I don't get that much of it.

yeah, there's one. it's dan brown's da vinci code. it's such a page turner, can't put the book down till i know what's gonna happen next. unfortunately, the movie adaptation is not that great but the book is so superb and awesome.

Hi, baldie. Welcome to myLot.
Unputdownable..... I like it.
No, I have never stayed up all night finishing a book. I have stayed up really, really late because the pages just kept turning but never all night.
I have been up all night for other reasons.
Hmm.... makes me think, does "pulling an all nighter" studying for a test count? In that case, yes I have.

If I didn't have to work mornings, I am sure I would stay up many nights reading. When I get involved in a good book I hate to stop reading it just to go to bed. But if I am going to do well on my job I have to get my sleep. Yes I have stayed up all night quite a few times reading a good book. I especially enjoy mysteries where you don't know who did the crime or why until the end and you get to try to figure it out yourself.

Yup, quite a number of times. The story I remember best was Dan Brown's Da Vincci Code. I had to go to work the next day; but I just couldn't put the book down. Anyway, I wasn't able to finish by 6.30am, as I had to get ready and rush out by 7am. But that day at work was terrible - I was tired, and longing to go home and finish the book!

I feel that way about every book that Eric Jerome Dickey has written. Especially his early books. I can actually read them over and over again. And sometimes when a book is so good I put off some of my friends just so I can finish them. :)...

When I started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I didn't want to stop reading it. The book doesn't go into detail on how to make money, but it will give you some good ideas. I think it is very motivational too. Any book by Robert Kiyosaki or Warren Buffet is interesting to me. I enjoy reading how they live their lives, it makes me want to strive for what they have.
