Well I have had about 3 or 4 I think. I gave my old phones to other people so they did not need to buy one. I saw it as a sort of recycling. I got all my phones free under contracts and when the contract period expired and an offer came out I would update.
so I have never paid for a phone and neither have the other 2 people I gave phones to.

I don't replace cell phones often. It's either they die or they get given away. Cheers!!

I've only had three. My first one was an analog. I finally had to replace it when all the service went to digital. My second was a nokia and I kept it until I moved north. My daughter talked me into going with another plan when I moved in with her so I gave my old one to my son. I don't really like my new phone though so I am going back to my old service soon.

I have only had 4 cell phones in 10 years. All I need my phone to do is make calls, receive calls, and receive voicemails. Caller ID is nice too. I don't need text messaging, a camera, internet, or anything extra on my phone, so I am not updated with the latest trends.

I's had at least a phone a year since I was 15 years old. So I would say about, 8 or 9. I have had 2 pagers as well.

I have a cell phone but do not use it often. My phone will probably last forever, actually it is my second. Nothing was wrong with the first one, I just decided to get another type of phone.
Now, my husband has gone through quite a few, one of them fell into the Atlantic Ocean, while he was on a fishing boat. He had it in his pocket and leaned over and the phone fell out.
The phone he has now, actually we went to get him another sim card today, because he was told that the card was burned out. He was having intermitent service and we thought that the sim card was the cause, he just told me this evening that he is still experiencing the same problem, so I guess he will eventually need another phone.

I have used three phones only.
The first was bought after my graduation when I need the phone to find a job and contact with interviewers.
The second one was bought one year later after first one, because the old one was broken. But this second one which is brand-new was stolen on the bus when I am on the way to office.
I bought the third just after second one was stolen. My third one is very simple. It has only call and message functions. And I have used it for one and a half years.
