Timing Belt

I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX with just under 110,000 miles and am unsure as to whether or not the timing belt has been replaced. I've heard that it needs to be done at 60,000 and also have heard that it must be done at 100,000, which is correct? Also, what other maintenance is due around 100,000?

no that is not correct. in the earlier days before 1980 some engines would bend the inlet or outlet valve because when the belt broke the piston would rise while the valve's stayed open. but that not the case anymore.if your engine was to break as you say they would be to weak to last ten miles relax.it will back fire and stop. bloody inconvenient but long lasting.. up too u

only reason i'm asking is that i can't buy a new car and i've had some people tell me the valves could go and then the engine would be a goner. and i really like the car. thank you for your time.

look the worst that can happen is it breaks car backfires and stops. leave it till it breaks i know cars that have done 260,000miles on the same timing belt..relax
