rap or rock? / myLot

if you were given a choice for dj'ing at a party or rather choosing the music of the evening.... and mind it its gonna be one type of music only and thats what you are supposed to choose.... would you go for rap music or rock music? i would definately go for rap music cos for me i can listen to rock (soft rock at that) only for sometime...not for too long or my head starts twirling:P but mostly cos i love rap and i mean any kind of rap.... what would you do?

I would go for rap. I can dance better to rap music lol. I like rock too but if I were teh DJ it would be rap.

Hello shonali! I like rock so for me it's obvious that I would pick the second option. Hehe heads start twirling that's funny. Yes, it maybe too much for some, but a good thing that everybody can choose freely what he or she wants to listen to. Best regards, Octavian

I admire the talents of rappers.Its not that easy to do rap.I listen to rap some times but it depends on the message of their song because most raps i heard was not lyrically good. Between rap or rock, I would pick more rock music because most songs that i listen to are rock bands.,but the same thing, i was choosy with regards to song lyrics.I don't want heavy metal rock,because i find it not a music anymore but more of a noise..Example of the rock bands i listen to were MAroon5, Swithcfoot, Relient K,Creed,Lifehous...sometimes, Greenday.
