Christams is usually the time for family reunions.I for one, look forward to it. This is because my siblings live in different cities and it is only during christmas vacations that we are able to come together. During the whole year through, work would consume most of our time that no time is left to do other things. I look forward to the Christmas vacation where I could stay late in bed and sleep to my heart's content, blog until I wanted to and be with family and friends. Thank God, soon it will be Christmas break! There are very rare times however that I don't look forward to it, especially when there is an ongoing friction between family members, But this is very rare as they tend to patch every misnunderstadning during Christmas. Come to think of it, this is the true spirit of Christmas-forgiveness and love. Merry Christmas. What about you? Do you look forward to it?

Yes I look forward to family reunions during christmas for it gives me a chance to see the one I don't get to see very often. Alot of people feel different on this for they have their disagreements with their family and care not to see them. I do to but we all try to get along for the best part and we are always glad to see one another when time comes to. I am looking forward to this years christmas seeing family and it will be a special one.

Oh yes! I love the holidays because it gives everyone a reason to meet up. Having family dinners on Christmas eve and New Year's eve has been a long standing tradition in my family, so I don't look forward to it as much. I dp have cousins abroad who will fly back over the holidays and I can't wait to spend time with them! Also,as I mentioned earlier, I want to see my friends-some of whom I haven't seen for a while already..

Yes I do look so forward to it! My gift to my family is hosting/preparing the traditional Christmas Eve dinner that has been passed down for many generations. Hubby and I are not exchanging gifts this year but that doesn't even matter to me. It's the time as you say for love and thanksgiving. Merry Christmas to you friend!

Yes, I am always looking forward for a reunion but we don't do it on christmas day but instead on new years eve. Thank God that we don't have friction going on with our family that is why we always expect to have reunion on that eve. We always reminisce the past years how we celebrate new year with the whole family. My cousins, aunts, uncle etc.... It is also the time of giving gifts to the little ones. How happy it is.....

Yes, I do look forward to it. I just got married last January and I am now living in my husband's house.
Well, I belong to a big family. We are 9 children. I am the youngest and was the last one to have my own family. I've got a lot of nephews and nieces. Most of my siblings live near our parents house. Actually, they live just beside their house. It is like a compound. Anyway, my favorite family christmas tradition is during christmas eve when all of us (even those who live far from our parents' place) get together in our parents' house and all together attend the christmas eve mass at around 10pm. After the mass, we go back to our parents' house to share some food (usually potluck - each family bringing some food for all). After eating is the gift-giving. I am the one to give my presents first since i am the youngest. It really feels good and you can really feel that christmas is the season for the family.

For this year, no I don't. No matter how people tell me to forgive people during Christmas, I'd still go back to hating all those in my family that hurt me this year. I just can't accept the thought that they're going to get away from what they did to me that easily. So, no, I don't look forward to the reunions.
