Favorite kinds of cake?

I once had this really outstanding cake for a coworker's birthday. It was an ice cream cake, with layers of chocolate cake and buttercream ice cream, and topped with chocolate frosting and chocolate shavings. Normally I don't like chocolate that much, but this was pretty outstanding. Honestly though? My favorite kind of cake is angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries. Can't beat the simplicity of it!
