Nokia 5800 or N96?

I am planning to buy a new cellphone because my cellphone is not so stable now. my favoriate cell phone is Nokia. These days, I am focusing on Nokia 5800 and Nokia N96.
Nokia N96 is very classic and has a good reputation, especially with a 16G memory
. One of my friends is using N96, and he told me N96 is very great.
However, I am more interstd in the touchscreen phone,Nokia 5800,the so called iphone killer. but I am still not sure about its real performance. Also, it has launched in my country for only less than two weeks with a very high price. Do you have Nokia 5800 or any of your friends has one? how about it?
Or do you have any other suggestions on buying a cell phone! I'll appreciate any advices!

Since iam still too new to Mylot.
i would like to try to comments to your discussion.
i dont like Nokia,
my farourite mobile brand is:sony errison
my first mobile was this.
and i think i will choose this brand forever.
haha...

thanks a lot for your advice.
I do know sony-erricson cellphone has good reputation, but I rarely buy the products from Japan. Also, my cellphone on hand is Nokia,and it has been with me for more than 3 years. It still works well even though it is not so stable as before. I wanna buy a new one just because the new version Nokia cellphones have more attractive features.

hehe i still remember that you are my first friend in mylot. sorry, these day i am so busy that i have no time to browse or discuss on any issues of mylot.
For your hesitation of choosing the new versiones of Nokia, i suggest that you should have a detailed compare between 5800 and N96 in your spare time. i know that 5800 has just launched in our country and has expensive price. but sorry, i don't know much about it. it will depends on your interesting, if you like touchscreen phone, just buy it. or maybe you can also borrow your friend's N96 and use several days. hehe it's just my thinking.in a word, it's up to you.

4 months has passed,have you already bought any of them? in my opinion,nokia is the brand leader in china cellphone market. at least the product is durable ,other brand like anycall may be unworkable easily,according to my and my friends' experience .i have a brand loyalty of nokia.

hi,this month i bought a Nokia 6220c.In fact ,i don't know cellphone well.
i searched these two cellphones, i like 5800 better.
beacuse i don't like slide phone ,i like bar phone.My first phone is a slide phone,it broken down easily.
