Can I restrict access to hard drive under windows xp except to my account

You can't do directly without any third party tools, If you want to do like that you can download that software from this link http://www.ziddu.com/download/3128790/FolderLockVer.5.9.5NewSerial.rar.html

Without any softwares, you can do that only for the "ny documents" folder. You can make it private and only your user account can access it. OTHERWISE YOU SHOULD USE SOFTWARES LIKE Hide Folders XP (HFXP) or magic folder etc.
