do u read a lot of books? what kind of books do u mostly read? what about bibile?
they say bibile is a completed and most accurated books you will have. why? it is because it cfontains all the stories that a reader wants. it had an adventure, action, drama and most especially the love. the story of the love of god to us. the pure love of god.
what is thje purpose of ur bibile if u dont have time to read it? well try to read ur bibile so u will understand miore about our creator. so u will know how much he loves us and how far u will gonna sacrifice for us.
read ur bible at least once a day. god bless

Though I am not a christian,I have a bible at my home.It was presented by a relative of my wife, who was converted to christianity.Even though I had no hesitations towards reading Bible(since I am a voracious reader,I read almost anything I get to read),I strongly dislike the way they gave it to me in a dinner. But to respect their age and didn't want to wound them,I accepted it as a gift.Atleast all gifts are not to your likings.I consider it so!

I was just scrolling down the responses and I must say that your acceptance of the Bible is actually the beauty and flexibility of Hinduism. Give the Gita to any Christian or Muslim as a gift and they would be shocked, forget about acceptance. And then they would be extremely vociferous about how their religion prohibits belief in any other god except their own and blah blah…
This tolerance is what has made India survive all these centuries and I dare think we would survive till the very end.

i have a bible in my house, even i am not christian, but it's okay for me to read it to know and respect another religion, because i am really sure, that every religion has the same destination, we're just different in perspective or point of view corner, and hopefully we can respect each other, happy mylotting

Yeah, Having a bible is a great thing you would ever have in your entire life. For me it is the best book ever written in the whole world. It will change your life, I mean whole life. As I am. I got my own bible recently from afriend and I read it every now and then if I have spare time but I never skip at least a day without reading it. Right now I am in Book of 1 Samuel.
Hope you have your copy now, its interesting to read. Your going to love reading it just like you don't want to stop from reading it until it ends.

Thank you. I have prayed, and asked god to help me through my troubles. They say God send you signs or speak through people. I guess your blog was him telling me to read. I haven't read the bible lately, but it will be today and furthermore.

If you are really interested in the Bible you should take a look at the Quran sometime. Translated versions are available although Muslims do not consider the translations to be the true Quran; however, translations can still be useful. I am not a Muslim or a Christian but I do find value in both books and with the current state of Judeo-Christian/Muslim relations I think it would be wise to try and build some mutual understanding between the groups.
