who is the best sachin/lara?

hii friends..whom do u think the best cricketer in world cricketer .for me sachin is the best cricketer because he is the highest one-day and test scorer and also he is the only batsmen who make 40 above centuries in world.what do you think?

For me also it is Sachin. But if we discuss about match winner then Lara will be my choice above Sachin since he plays really like a champion when his team needs most.
Sachin on the other hand number of times got out cheaply when we need over 5.5-6 runs per over to chase.
But when you consider of the individual ability Sachin is always ahead. His bowling also came in handy many times in the past.

i agree with you.lara was a match winner as well as much more gritty than sachin.i would love to ask sachin's fans how many times sachin has finished the match for india.to me steve waugh,brian lara were finishers.unfortunately lara played a lot of cricket alongwith the depleted west indian team,otherwise his records would have been much more noteworthy.

no doubt it is always Sachin the best the main reason is about the concistence and performance in all level of cricket stage test o rone day or twenty20 he is performance is the best

this debate will always be there,as both have great achievements and were contemporary cricketers.we indians are more obsessed with records and we judge on that itself.but remember lara has a 400 score in tests and sachin has not been able to reach 300 yet despite playing so many tests.also one of lara's innings has been rated as the second best innings ever played in test cricket history while not a single tendulkar innings is in top 100 innings.
