It has been years since I stepped foot in a library. The funny thing is that I worked at a public library for about 8 years. I guess I got my fill of it back then. LOL. But libraries are great for studying and access to many different resources. Now, I work full time and have a family and any research I do need I always end up buying the book after looking at them at Barnes & Noble. Either that or I use the Internet for research purposes.

I'm a big fan of our local public library system. I visit it at least once a week. I borrow books and audiobooks. But I most enjoy using their online services.
I like being able to keep track of my account, renew books online, request books that get delivered to my house. They are pretty current with their choices, so I don't really feel like I need to books.
As appreciation for everything I get from the library, I'm donating some amount to library fund, just a simple gesture of thanks from all the wonderful books I'm getting from them.

I actually miss using the library. Right now I don't have my own transportation but once I do again I plan to get back into our library visits.
Our library has a very extensive collection of videos and dvd's and music that you check out.
You can even check out paintings to decorate your home with.

I have begun to go to the library a few times a week myself lately and it is because of the economy. I have always loved to read but I used to spend a lot of my money buying books at Borders and Barnes and Noble, but lately I have had very little extra money and I have been really freaked out by what everyone has been saying about how bad the economy is.
So since I still love to read I have been going to the library lately. I don't go as much as you, I tend to go about once a week. But when I am there I usually check out three or four books, so those tend to keep me pretty well occupied for the entire week.
I have also noticed that the library does seem pretty busy lately. There used to be places where I could sit by myself and read in peace, but now there seem to be people everywhere.

I love libraries too, when I was a kid, we went each week to the local library, I think I've read every single book they had there lol! I'm still a regular visitor of our local library (once every 3 weeks/month).
I also love the university libraries, great atmosphere to study in! I'm never as concentrated as when I'm working there. There's also a lot of knowledge there, very interesting!

Yah, me too nowadays never read a book. I browse and pass the time. Its a problem that we all should think about. If the situation prevails in no matter of time, we should go to museums to see what books are.
