I'm curious about people who work and are also posting here. If you know whether you are more introvert than extrovert, can you say what you are? If you don't know which you tend to be more of, a sort of final analysis question that COULD guide you to know, "When you attend business or even social networking events, do you tend to lose energy and want to leave as the event goes on, or do you tend to get charged up and want to see it go on longer?" Want to leave - more introvert. Want to stay longer - more extrovert. If you do work outside of your posting at mylot, which do you tend to be more of? I am an introvert, in business and love to write as part of my marketing. Thanks for this anecdotal, anonymous survey and YOUR help.

For me, it often really depends on the situation. There have been a lot of times when I go to Business meetings for the Online type business things I have done over time, that it often depends on what they are trying to portray and if it seems like something I can do, or interested in learning more about as well. Most of the time, I would say I find myself getting bored and wanting to leave, but if it is something I can have a little control over, then you can catch me wanting to stay around and do more with it as well.

It sounds like you have learned to balance the being of either when you need or want to; that's how I read your being about to either stay or go! Thanks.

I am solitary by nature and I'm very self reliant. As a child I was shy, and I had low self esteem until my thirties. Then I took a job that bought me into contact daily with the public, I became more self confident, and I acquired new social skills. I had a very active social life during those years and I even enjoyed business networking, but I think this was because my job involved something that has always been a passion of mine - books and publishing. Now my life is completely different. I am a writer and I communicate mainly through the written word. I lead a very quiet life. I am friendly and I like people in general, but I prefer to be on my own, living my life in the way that suits me best. I am a natural introvert, and that has given me inner strength. It means I don't have to rely on other people emotionally, and I don't need to ask for help or advice, I can find things out for myself, form my own opinions and have my own original ideas.
