I either boil rice, to eat with meat and vegetable dishes, or fry rice with eggs, dried shrimps, sliced mushrooms and bacon bits.

hello my dear friend, i love rice and i am a big rice eater. my meaL Is never complete without rice . Rice is a staple food of our country and i cant live without it. i donno too many ways but then too i try making in my own ways. like on every day basis, i eat them boiled, or steamed, sometimes fried, but thats very rare. then i also make vegetable fried rice, egg rice with cooked egg mixed in half cooked rice and then rice cooked again. rice with ginger and garlic, rice with fried onions, rice with just tomatoes fried and cumin seeds, rice with fried mushrooms in it. i just love rice. i love to have it with lentil soup and fat free youghurt too. i am a vegetarian so i dont add anything non veg, but my hubby is non vegetarian so he loves to have it with chicken with gravy and loves chicken biryani.
i love steamed rice with kidney beans.

I can only do steam rice and fried rice. I've tried to make some risotto before but it didn't turn out good so i gave up after one try. I haven't tried Spanish rice though. Is that like Mexican rice also? Mexican rice is also good but I think it's too dry. I prefer java rice better. Maybe you can share your Spanish rice recipe :)
