What do you mean?? O.o I usually buy stuff online because i can't get it in my country. And yes, the ease of it also counts.

In general i choose physical shopping but recently i have bought a few items online from amazon.com (US) and from amazon.co.uk (UK) for my girl and it felt good. The first item arrived a few days ago intact and in perfect form, so i don't regret using this type of purchasing from time to time.

Physical unquestionably. Although many consider online shopping as "the way of the future", I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing. Stores in real-life are a lot less prone to abuse and a great advantage of them is that the consumer can actually see what they're purchasing visually. The chances of making a mistake or buying something you don't like are greatly reduced compared to when online shopping, because then all you can see are pictures and a description of the object. I also prefer department store shopping because of prices. Since I live in the Middle East, it can be quite costly to ship objects that are purchased online here. I haven't seen any instance where there has been an option for "free shipping" like there is in the United States or United Kingdom, for here. People choose online shopping because of its supposed convenience and no crowds, but I think that it's just a way of avoiding going outside and making a small sacrifice in order to make sure that what you're getting is what you really want (for a cheaper price, too).

I normally would buy my things online as it gives comfort, but if it's something really small or cheaper at the physical store, then I have no other option down just to go down there to pick it up myself.

When I'm online I tend to know exactly what I want - dvds and books, or I have a theme for instance when buying my niece a xmas pressie I search Hannah Montana. I do love shopping online but I don't like the fact that you don't have it straight away and if you order a lot the parcel is sent to your post office instead of house. With physical shopping you get to touch and feel the products, you can pick the jumper that doesn't look like it's been tried on by millions of people before you, you can check there and then if it has any faults. I prefer physical book shopping because i can browse and wander around feeling the atmosphere of the shop! I think that when I physically shop I don't really know what I want I wait to be inspired, but online I have an idea and a budget.
