I'm dreaming of a White Christmas. Last year my dream came true. And this will be my second white Christmas. Coming from a tropical country we never have white Christmas... only Cold or Wet Christmas. Cold literally and figuratively. Cold because of the weather... cold when your loved one is not with you. Wet because it is always rainy season in the Philippines during this time of the year.
So what about you? What kind of Christmas are you going to have? or are you dreaming of?

I think i'm going to have a boring Christmas this year because then i just lost the job a have been doing and the people around here knows that every Christmas and new year eve i always pump some funky parties and get lot of people at my home.
so i think this year is going to be a different story because i cannot organize anything because i do not have cash

Oh I'm really sorry to hear about that. I know a lot of people here are also feeling the same way too. Even me and my husband because work is not really good here due to economic crisis. However, Christmas is not just about parties. I do hope that your loved one will be able to appreciate the season even without the grand parties but the joy of having one another and sharing whatever blessing you have. Take care.

my christmas plans have already been put in motion. i drove 6 hours to my oldest daughter's tuesday, we'll be leaving here next monday and drive for two days to my parents' house. it will be a very special christmas since i haven't seen them in two years, as well as my youngest daughter, and my sister, and none of them know i'm coming. the only thing i could wish for this christmas is that my s/o could have come with me, we'll be apart for almost a month.

What I'm going to have is Christmas morning with the kids and then hit the road. Our niece in Arizona is getting married on the 27th.
What I'd be dreaming of is not to have to hit the road until at least the 26th so that the kids could enjoy their presents, we could have Christmas dinner, etc.
Won't be any snow here, or at least it's very unlikely!

That is nice. Family gathering during Christmas season is always a special occasion to look forward too. Congratulations on your niece.
