MyLot is nice and all that they let us exercise most of our inalienable human right to free speech (since humans can produce sounds via their vocal chords), but there are still plenty of features we could see. For the moment, I am having difficulty deciding upon a topic to discuss, which is pretty difficult since the inherent nature of "discussion" is extremely open-ended and abstract (or else there'd be no point to it). I have a lot of topics under my "New Discussion" page, and it's a lot to have to scroll through and decide upon.
I think perhaps it'd be a fun and refreshing challenge to be able to be given a random topic from within StumbleUpon, and then try and decide to come up with something on that topic. It can be a great way to really find out just what it is you know, and helps you examine the world around you. The discussion skill this would help to develop primarily would be the reflexive aspect. Stating out what you know in the first part is an important and fundamental building block to both discovering and developing further conversation on the matter at hand.
