Just the other days i made 30-40 posts of 3-4 lines and i would earn something between $0.80-$1+ but just the other day i made 30 posts and all between 7-8 lines and still got a little less than $0.60 and i wondered if the saying that add more liners to your posts really do help here.
Do you really believe that, or maybe is just a trick that we don't make too many posts that can end-up stressing the server?, i mean do you really believe that thing works?

I think it depends on what you write rather than how many lines you write. It is important to make your post loner, but it has to be such that it is helping the discussion that you are participating in and add material to it and take it forward, just adding words doesn't make sense

LOL i dint mean that no way...I was just speaking generally.I too have felt that i have never got paid as per th number of my postings and i have tried to find reasons for this and this is how i concluded, that may be my responses were not upto the mark and thats what i wrote in my post in reply- plz dont be offended, it was more like thinking out aloud about my own feelings :)

Now you think the whole day i was typing a whole lot of gibberish? and just typing nonsense and irrelevant responses? if that what you think maybe let it be but if something fishy is happening here i think mylot should tell each and everybody about it, why do they keep secrets?

In my side, I still do believe on that since my earnings from previous days are within the range of what I expect it to be. And last month, that's the reason why I reach the minimum amount in less than or under 3 weeks only, knowing that I only have to spend less time and effort in making posts.

What was your earnings in the following day? I mean the day after you got just less than 0.60 cents. Have you noticed something unusual or something that is bigger of what you are working in the previous day? Lately I have noticed something different already in the way they are updating the earnings, not sure what it is but it is just weird. I still have to dig on it since I am able to sign in for 5 days only since the first of December.

But with me is totally different story, i mean just 2 days back i spend lot of time online to make posts with the target of the following day when the update will be made, i expected something like $1.50 but the i got like less than $0.60 and i made quality 30+ post and all with 7-8 lines.
Now i feel like i want out

yes, I truly believe so. I have seen this with my own posting of responses. Whenever I have written substantial responses, I believe mylot has rewarded me more than the regulatory one cent.

Now where does the saying that adding more lines to your discussion come from, are they fooling us by saying some gibberish like that?
Maybe the word quality works only to let other people know that.. this is a great forum where you will get people posting quality responses but not really reflecting on the way we earn

where are you?I mean, which country or city a you living.if you living in an place localed in different time zone with mylot, the time differece may cause the thing you told us--you account some comment on Tues. but mylot account they on Wed.
And,i think mylot judge how to pay you not only depend on how many you write, they care quality also.

I know exactly when the updates are made and i know until which time of the day will the earning reflect on the following day and they were so little that i even thought somehow about this forum.
Do they really judge us about how they pay? does that mean that there are some discrimination here? i mean i just made quality posts and yet i got little earnings

I have done it both ways when starting/responding to discussions and I found really that it's the quality of the post and how mylot looks at it. I also found that you have to do several in order to get the amount money wise you want. Good luck to you.

I thought i was making quality posts just the other day but when the updates of the earning on my account came i was a bit shocked because they were like as if i was just posting like the other days were i would just post even on discussions i felt that they might get deleted.
But just the other day i made sure that i posted some high quality posts because there is a target that i want to archive just before the 15th now, i got a shock i wasn't expecting

Hi there!
You know frankly, what makes us earn here still confuses me. I have been mylotting 7 months already but I haven't figured out mylot's earning algorithm.
I also experience the same. There are days that I post more and I earn less and there are days that I post less but I earn more. Some say its the quality that counts but I'm also not sure about that. Quality of a topic doesn't rely on the number of lines. For me quality is the sense of the topic. There are topic that doesn't say much but they get a lot of responses and I bet it earns more.
I just stopped thinking about the ways to earn here. I only get frustrated if I think about it and it makes me lose my interest in mylot. I just participate and have fun. I think its the best to do.
Ciao!

But are we suppose to know those days that we earn more? do they just want us to post more high quality posts every now and then and the other days we get nothing but little out of the effort we applied? i think that's not fair if there are some high earning days here because then no one has ever been told about them

Hi loxion!!
I think that yeah you can get a little more money if your response or comment is a little lengthy but neither is it will no earn too much money, if you want to earn some little extra cents try to upload images to your interests and can earn a few cents extra with those! I hope this will help you.
Well have a nice day and hope you will have a very good week ;) see you soon and bye bye.

I use to post like 40-50 posts per day and i would normally get around $0.60-$0.90 and after a heard people saying for you to earn more you need to at-least add more lines to your posts, so i reduced those lot of posts i was making and started to post responses and discussions that has 7-8 lines and the other day i made exactly that and made 30+ posts and i got an insult earning

not necessary
quality is important
information should be relevant
I think being concise is better way to be useful
because nobody has enought time to read

I think no matter what you write. You earn around $0.01 for each post that you make. This is what I have observed so far. Please correct if my observation is incorrect.

I really do not know how their pay structure works. I usually just figure a little more than a penny per post. At least that's what I have been getting. But my response are usually only about three lines. So maybe it does matter.

They say adding more lines to your discussions help earn better, although it is not mentioned in their FAQ but lot of people say when they have added more lines to their discussions then they would get a better earning at the next update period, now i'm i being discriminated here

Adding more lines to posts may help earn better if it increases content and quality of the posts. I have seen posts which are compact and concise. The points given are easy to understand. On the other hand there are long winded posts which do not have mush content and needs careful reading to understand. There are also postings which repeat the same point using different sentences.
As has been stressed by many others content and quality are important.
all the best,
rosdimy

I think its about quality and not quantity. It could be a case that your 3-4 lines made better discussions than your 7 -8 liner. In addition I think that the number of responses are also a factor. It would seem to me that the 3- 4 liner may have gotten you more responses as well.

Hello loxion,
i think it's on the one side true, on the other side wrong to believe the more you write, the more money you could earn.
Like they write in the guideline also quality is important in the responses or comments that we write.
If we don't take care of this, too, it's not useful for the discussion.
You'll probably get not much more as if you had just written 3-4 lines instead of 7-8 lines.
Another question: Could it be that you wrote your posts between the time when they update the earnings, so that half of them are given to you at the next day??
This happened to me sometimes when myLot updates the earnings sometimes little bit earlier or little bit later than normal.
Have a nice time in myLot and keep on posting!

I made lot of those discussions in the morning and i know that here where i am i only see today's updates the following day in the afternoo and now all the posts i made were like in the morning and during the course of the day and the following day when the updates were made i only got this low earning i wondered if whether what they are saying is true or what
I don't think i was typing a whole lot of nonsense on those posts but i just told myself that today i want to make at-least $1.50 or upwards but the following morning i got nothing but less than $0.60
