A body has been uncovered at a park in central Florida, and is believed to be the remains of Caylee Anthony, a 3 year old girl who went missing many months ago.
I was just flipping through channels on the TV when I came across this. There's no evidence yet, they'll have to wait for the body to be examined further, but they are guessing it is Caylee Anthony.
I am thankful the girl's soul can finally be at rest, and the mother will now get what she deserves. I hope she is in jail for the rest of her life.
What do you think of this news?

I watch Nancy Grace from time to time on CNN news and she's been doing follow ups the whole time on this case. I think this is so sad and it doesn't matter what my theory of the story is. It's just a shame that a young mother was blessed to be able to have a sweet child. I dont' know why God allows trash like that to even become fertile. I know many caring people who can't have children then look at garbage and wonder why this is? I honestly hope they use capital punishment on this mother and don't even look back after it's finished. She deserves the hardest punishment that you can think of.
I'm not happy at all that they had to discover little Caylee's body this way.
Have a nice night

Yup it is sad and it makes me angry as well. My hubby and I went for an orientation to become foster parent because from what we see out in the world is so sad and he's on the same page as I am when it comes to children and giving them a safe and stable home and life. We're just waiting for our certificates to come in the mail, then on Tuesday I have a physical to get from my doctor where he also needs to fill out one form then mail it to the foster agency. I'm not sure what the steps are after that but I"m very excited to get my licence for it.

It is sad isn't it. So many kids being abandonded and abused and neglected. So many women getting abortion after abortion after abortion. Then there are perfectly loving, caring, wonderful people who will never be parents. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

This whole thing truly disgusts me. Since this family lives near me, i kinda feel embarrassed for them. I can understand that they dont want to believe that their daughter is a murderer. but if this body is of caylee, and they can prove it, i hope they feel bad for defending her.
Caseys story, from day one has had nothing but "holes" in it, revealing more and more lies. I don't know how anyone would defend her?
Shhhessh.

I can't say as I blame them for not wanting to think their daughter is a murderer. That's gotta be a difficult position to be put in for them. They lost their granddaughter and now have to face the facts that the girl they raised may have killed her. Very sad.

Yes I seen it on the news, do you think her Mother had something to do with it? I hope not.

This entire thing really saddens me. When I first heard of this child being missing and her mother not reporting it for so long, my heart ached deeply. The grandparents are beside themselves. You always hope for the best in these situations. I continue to pray for this family.

I read somewhere that it wasn't her and that there was nothing there.
It's truly sad how people could do that to an innocent child. There are indeed a lot of people who aren't worthy to become parents or mothers. The problem is, how could we help to stop these things from ever happening?
We are nothing but spectators who grieve in silence as these things occur around us.

I watched the news at 11pm last night, and they had definitly found a child's remains. Whether or not it was Caylee they still didn't know, but they certainly did find something.
It is a very sad world we live in, and sometimes it scares the heck out of me.

Yes, I heard that they had found a body close to where she went missing. In fact, if I'm not mistaken she was found approximately a mile from her Grandparents' home.
What chills me about this case in particular, is the fact that the child's grandfather, is a retired law enforcement officer. He has spoken to the police, and originally led them to a further investigation. He was the one who said to law enforcement, that he smelled something, that he compared to the smell of a decomposing body. He also said to investigators, that particular smell once you have smelled it, you will never forget.
I watch court TV quite frequently (while mylotting of course) and I thought I also heard it reported that he also conceded that he was uncomfortable with his daughter's behavior, and couldn't believe that he had raised a child that could do something like that.
Now, if I have all of my facts straight, (which I may not, and if I don't I apologize) it gives me goose bumps to think that even her father thinks that she could've been involved somehow. Also, I was watching some of the tapes of her jailed conversations, and in my opinion, they were a bit strange, or odd. One never knows of course, how they would react in a similar situation until we find ourselves there but she does seem to be out of touch.
That's just my opinion, I don't know of course, and I would love to be wrong. However the reality is that a child has been found on the side of the road...
So no matter who it is, it is a real shame!

I think a red flag should have gone up when the mom didn't notify authorities that the child was missing for a month, and then she kept changing her story about where the girl was. What mom would go partying when her child is missing? Even if she didn't kill the little girl, there's something seriously wrong with a woman who doesn't seem to care that her child is missing.

I was watching the live feed video on Foxnews yesterday at work. I am not so sure that it's her. I mean would Casy be dumb enough to dump her or have her dumped that close to her parents house? And plus the body was pretty much just a skeleton. Would Caylee's body be in that deplorable of a condition since June? I mean maybe I'm no CSI but I am jsut not convinced. Plus I am hoping that she can still be found alive. On the other hand if it is her at least her family can have some closure. I hope Casey get's the chair!
