My husband and I are spending Christmas at home this year by ourselves. We will visit our youngest daughter and her son Christmas Eve. Our other 2 daughters live to far away to go visit right now. They also have families of their own so it's harder for them to come visit. This is the first year we will be home by ourselves and I'm actually kind of looking forward to it! How about you? Where will you be spending your Christmas? Where ever you spend it, I pray you have a safe, happy and blessed Christmas!

Last year i already spent my Christmas away from home. So for this year, i'll spend and celebrate Christmas with my family at our home sweet home. I'm excited because my godchildren will come visit me this time of year and get their presents haha! Advance Merry Christmas! i hope you and your husband will still enjoy celebrating your christmas without the rest of your daughters.

This year I decided to take the family to Disneyland for the Holidays. It's going to be the first time since my children have been born that we'll be away from home. It's going to be exciting as I've arranged for a character breakfast on Christmas morning :)

You wouldn't believe how many offers we have had to come along and be a nanny for our son. Hmmmm, if I had known so many people would have done it for the price of a plane ticket I might have considered it.

hello joerhonda,
We usually spend our Christmas with my in-laws. But since they're gone already, we'll go to my parents house who just arrived from Texas and spend there with my sister, brother and our own families. It will be a greet reunion for all of us. Looking forward that my sister and her family in Texas can come celebrate the holiday with us too. If that will happen, we'll celebrate it even more fun, exciting and happy.

We are spending Christmas at home. We still have some kids at home. The ones that moved out come back for Christmas which is always nice. i imagin that the day will come when they will have their own families and either my husband and I will be traveling to their houses or spending it alone. i understand when they have families why they wouldnt want to come on Christmas day. Merry christmas!

I think when they get older they like to do both. They love to come home with the kids so the grandbabies can experience what they did as children on Christmas. They also like when you go to their homes so they can show off how they decorated and what they are doing for Christmas! Either way is great! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

This year we are spending Christmas at my parents home. My grandparents who are in their early 80's are flying in from Arizona and staying for a week! It will be nice to see them. Then since my husbands parents live up in VA, and my husband is going to be unemployeed, we may drive up there for New Years, since it will be the LAST of anything for a while. His parents maybe will help with some money if we do decide to go. We have spent many holidays alone, one in Wisconsin, one in Chicago, and then a few holidays in Virginia, and in Oklahoma. I still go all out and cook the food that we usually cook, it is nice just the 2 of us sometimes.
Hope you have a nice Christmas with you and your Husband. You will enjoy it. It is really kind of nice and peaceful, and can be romantic!!!
Have a safe, and blessed Christmas!!!
Christin

I will be spending Christmas with my family not too far away from my home. We will sing happy birthday to Jesus, then open presents together, eat a big feast, and then open more presents.

Well, my sister that my husband and I used to go to every Christmas Eve recently moved from WA state to Pennsylvania, so there is no one on my side of the family that lives close, but we will probably go to my BIL's Christmas night for dinner and to spend time with their family. They usually have Prime Rib and Salmon for dinner, and it is always a nice time even though their is at least 20 or so people there. As I have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, this only leaves the evenings open for us anyways.

Awe, that is blue, but at least you have a good attitude about it! You're right, I think we all have been there at least once. I know I have. Years ago I spent Christmas working in a soup kitchen. I figured it was better than being alone and I was right...I had a blast! Cheers to you to sweetie! Merry Christmas...

definitely I would like to be with my family. I do not know whether we will spend in home or some other place. Because we are planning for a trip in a hill station. It is really exciting to spend this winter in hill along with your family. isn't it?
