What is the strangest way you ever made a friend?

Me personally I was at the carwash one day. bout 5 years ago when this guy came over to me and offered to wash my car for me. No gimicks he even payed for the carwash which was so kind of him. We talked on the phone as friends and became best friends, and we still are best friends.
