Gifts.. what do you think??

Do you value homade or handmade gifts as much as a store bought one? The reason you feel this way?

I always buy one to present to my love on occasions. I have only once gifted a hand made greeting card to my friend but that wasn't that good and alas! I didn't had camera at that time so that I could take a picture or two !
