I have a terrible cold right now. I hate it. I don't like the flu either though. My whole face hurts, my nose hurts from blowing,my joints are a bit achy also. throat is scratchy and hurts. I just hate being sick.

I really don't like either but I guess I'd rather have a cold than the flu. When you have the flu you tend to vomit and all of that other fun stuff and tend to spend quite a bit of time in the bathroom and you just never feel good because you are constantly getting up and down and running to the bathroom, nor you can't really eat anything because you can't keep anything down. I'd rather feel crappy but able to spend my time in bed sleeping it off and actually keeping food down than spending my time on the bathroom floor.

I would rather have a cold, since the flu makes me spew from both ends. When I have the flu i only puke once, but the other end says busy for days. YECH!! I had a bad cold last week. It was annoying, and inconvenient, but I just got the internet at home, so I wasn't bored. I'm still coughing up crud, and I'm sure my bronchitis is back (always happens when I get a cold) but it's not as bad as it was last week. I've started going out to the coffee shop again, so i cna't be that sick anymore. LOL When I stop going to the coffee shop, you know I'm sick.

I am sorry that you don't feel well. I would rather have neither. It is a bad time of year to be sick, with all the holiday sweets around, for one one is sick one needs to eat only healthy food and no candy or cookies. Bummer. Try to get well soon.

yes it sucks to be sick at this time of year. It started with my daughter (18) and has spread.

They both are pretty bad. I think that the cold would be the lesser of the two evils though. May I recommend an article to read? It is on how to get better quicker when you have a cold. http://www.ehow.com/how_4617405_better-quicker-have-common-cold.html (just copy and paste)

i'd rather have the cold. flu is something i've never mastered the remedy of. besides the whole body aches when you have a flu and sometimes you don't know what is terribly wrong with you. you feel awfully bad. not as bad as when one has a cold.
