Do you sometimes think that you are very unlucky??

I believe that I was born in this world with being unlucky person.. Why? Its because since the day I was born all the bad lucks had came into my life.. I was born an overdue baby so it means that my health isn't good/strong.. I always get sick and I always have an illness.. When one of my illness had gone then another illness will come up.. I just really hate my life.. In many contest that I joined, theres no time that I won.. I always lose in all of the contest thats why sometimes I don't want to joined any contest.. Even in the raffle draw, my name isn't lucky.. No matter how many entries I passed still my name didn't include in list of winners in the raffle draw.. Then I always encounter problems in the crowd.. I just really hate my life...
How about you?? Do you think you were born lucky or unlucky?? Do you sometimes think that you are a very unlucky person?? Please share your experiences with me..

I'm sorry to hear that you feel so unlucky, kissie34. Sometimes I wonder if some of those things you mention are all just mind over matter. Like, if you decided to think of yourself as a lucky person if more luck would start heading in your direction.
I like the saying, "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change". So in other words, stop thinking about being unlucky. Spend a few minutes every now and then thinking about things you were lucky about, and start to see that more lucky things will happen to you.
I don't know, I hope this makes sense to you.

Thanks for making me fell better.. Well, I always hoping things will be change just like what you've said.. I always hope that one day my life will be change and I will be lucky just like others.. I always have this sense in me that i will be lucky for something but when the result comes it always the opposite way that I expect and thats make me feel so much unlucky and somehow looking faith that one day everything will be change.. Honestly, I'm always thinking positive things but the result always end to the opposite side.. So, sometimes I'm thinking that what if I don't expect something, what if i will think all the negative things about my life maybe the result will be positive so that if ever the same result will happen it doesn't hurt so bad and doesn't depressed me.. Hope you understand what am I trying to say...

Hi kissie34! Your experiences in the past made you think you were born in a badluck condition and ofcourse what you went through makes you to make such statements, but I want you to know that the past is the past and you have a great future to face. Just take your time and wipe the thought of the past. If you have failed in the past, it is not because you will keep failing, but it tells you more that you have much experience on failure and that you can do better that people who are ignorant of failure. A great man once said "champions are not consider according to the number of times they fail, but according to the number of times they rise after failure". I have never consider myself to be a failure, though I have gone through situation with challenges. I don't know your believe, but you can start developing a sense of posibility and there is someone that can help you out in a perfect way. (if you accept, believe trust and JESUS). I admit that I had made so many failures before but believe it or not I have learned so many things from that failure and I don't think that all of my failures will be cause of my thinking that I'm an unlucky person.. Its really hard to explain by do i think and believe this way but believe me its not about my failures in life.. And yes its about some part of my past but not about the failures that I've done before.. I have corrected all of my failures already and I'm not going to do it again.. Believe or having faith is one of the things that I don't have.. I admit that my faith in him isn't that strong and I'm questioning his powers or if he is real.. Maybe, faith is one of my problem since I don't have a strong faith in him and I don't know how to have a clear faith in him without any regret.. Anyway, thanks for sharing..

You must change your way of thinking from the negative way you are to the positive then you will find the 'luck' you deserve and then you will reach the goals you make, when you play the lottery you may get a little something, as do a lot of people, but to think how unlucky in life you are you will always be unlucky...littleowl

Believe it or not but i always think positive sides.. But it always turns me down.. When every time I think and hoping for positive results it always end myself into negative sides.. I really don't know why.. So, thats why I like to think negative things since sometimes it results to positive sides.. At least there will be a lesser pain and expectations will I feel..

Personally I dont beleive in luck good or bad. This was what I have learned works best for me. Know that you are only human like use all. You might find there are others that feel the same way. I know I dont particularly enjoy all types of large crowds. Things will come around some day just keep playing. Maybe play differently or a game change. :) check out the website on my profileif you get a chance there are many options.....

I'm trying not to believe about good or bad lucks but I just can't help my self from believing and expecting something from it.. Yes, I know that life is just like a game.. We lose and win.. But loosing so many times already isn't good feeling anymore.. Of course, you will really think that there might something wrong, right?? And no matter how hard I tried to think about what makes it wrong, still I can find ways and means on how solve it... Maybe, life is just too unfair for others and I'm one of the others..

Please don't think that way. Always think positive and look on the bright side.
I feel that I am blessed. Of course, unlucky things do happen from time to time but I am mostly positive about it.
The past few months were not too good for me as I fell down and tore my foot ligament. Till now, it still hurts. I can't work as much and I can't do sports. 
The good thing is I do get to spend a little more time resting and watch my favorite anime. I was also down with fever/flu/sore throat 2 weeks ago. It took me more than a week to recover. I had never been sick for so long.
Please don't hate your life. Bad things do happen to everyone, not only you. On the other hand, good things also happen to everyone. Please focus on the good things in your life.

I've never won a sweepstakes or a raffle either but I don't necessarily consider myself to be unlucky. I think that your self image plays a large part in how your life goes. If you think badly about yourself, you project that image onto others. Maybe if you start telling yourself that your luck is going to change...and then you set about to change it...your life will improve. You can make your own luck in this life...not by raffles but by setting a goal and taking steps to reach them.

Well, maybe your right! I actually have so many goals in life and I'm on my way to reach all of my goals in one at a time.. I had somehow reach some of my goals but the expectation that you were expecting to happen isn't exactly happen.. Theres a lot of changes happen even the goal that I set was really well plan.. I had reach so many goals in my life but not all of my goals that I was expecting to happen was happened.. 
Well, maybe thats what life is..

To be lucky all the time is impossible.You should not consider things negatively,for instance,you said you joined some contests,but never win any of them,so you think you are unlucky,you know,to win a contest is not a simply thing,before this you should prepare for it elaborately,i think you lost them can not represent anything,the only reason is that your preparation is not enough,whether you win or lose it,you can acquire many useful things.So it is not you are a unlucky person,it is the God want you to be better than the other.

Although you can think you have good or bad luck, I think it's a matter of perception. You know, seeing the glass half empty or half full.
I've suffered a lot of bad things in my life, things that might make me think I'm an unlucky fellow, but you know what? I try to move ahead and I try to concentrate on the good things that happened to me. Guess what? I'm a very happy person because of that.
it seems to me you're too focused on the bad things in your life. Start looking at the good things and you might change your point of view about life.

Honestly, I'm not always thinking about the bad things happen in my life.. Of course, I'm also thinking and expecting so many good things will happen in my life.. But sometimes, not all the things that we hope to happen will happen and sometimes it is the opposite way... And thats make me feel bad and sad.. I'm always hoping good things.. I always think positive things in my life but it always happen the opposite way.. Anyway, thanks for sharing!

I believe that nobody in this world were created unlucky..."think of others who are less fortunate and unlucky than you are, before you think that you are indeed in a very bad situation", meaning, you were telling us that you are always getting sick, but, have you been confined in the hospital for weeks, months or even for years? If not then you are lucky, second, how much you paid for those raffle entries you join? Did it came into your mind that those few cents or dollars were very important to those who are living like hell in the side of the streets, and you were just spending it to hope that you could win. Meaning you have the chance to earn and spend. Besides you are not the only who has bad luck when it comes to raffles, believe me "WE" are billions. Third, being unlucky in the streets? what do you mean by this? Do usually encounter thieves? Like have you experience getting trouble by a snatchers? Or do you always have fight in the streets over the crowd? Cause if not, then you are still lucky. Think of this ok?

I know what you are trying to say.. Well, I know that I'm not that unlucky person in this world cause in some cases as what you've mentioned 
above I know that I'm lucky to have those things in my life.. But you can't stop me from thinking that I'm so unlucky because you don't know what am I experiencing from everyday of my life.. You just really don't know how do I feel for some instances in my life.. My problems are not just because I didn't won a raffle draw but theres a lot of things that I can say that I'm so unlucky person.. Yes, since I was a child I always confined in the hospital.. I always check in and check out in the hospital for so many times.. It seems that the hospital is like a hotel.. My illness is just one of my problem that I don't know how to deal with it anymore.. Well, I guess its only me whom I can say that I'm so unlucky person in this world cause its only me who I can feel it and know why do I treat or think to myself that I'm one of the unlucky person in this world..
