Did you ever buy an mobile in other countary?

My friend bought a mobile in England ,and now he is in China,but his mobile can't display Chinese!Did you ever had experience before like this?And how you solved that situation?

Actually i am from India & when my uncle, who is in London, Gifted me a nokia mobile, when he came here last year.i foung nothing unusual with it. In which brand mobile you experienced the Problem and whats the model?

if you have a smart windows mobile device you just install programs or flashing the os with the right one. it is the same with mobile phones , just flash it with the right os given for this country.
