I live here in Texas were there is hardly any snow and its crazy. You never know when it will be cold or hot here. One moment you could be outside and it is like 80 degrees outside and then the next day its 30 degrees and freezing. Anyways I say this because my mom called me all excited yesterday because she had a foot of snow outside her door. She was saying that she has been praying for snow like forever and she finally got some. She lives in a area that you only get snow once in a blue moon. Here where I live in Texas it too rarely gets snow. And the other day like cities around where I live at got some snow and some places in town like up in the hills got snow as well.
So anyone else got any crazy weather going on in their area.

Hi There.
We don’t have snow here in the Philippines but the weather in here is crazy for me. One moment or a day, it would rain then after that the sun will shine! I just can’t stand it especially when I am outside. I think it’s crazy, lolz… My mother once said that the earth is forgetful about the weather… hehehe… but since it is Christmas, I know it will kinda be rainy or sunny but cold at night. I just hope tomorrow will be a sunny weather since we will go to amusement park with 3 of my friends.
Happy Holidays! And Happy Mylotting! Cheers!

Lol, yeah thats crazy Texas weather for you and I have noticed it getting colder here. I'm here in San Antonio, and we really haven't seen snow except for in the hills. Yeah, my mom said they had gotten a little bit more snow than Houston. She's like out heading towards Louisianna. I was upset myself, I was like hey now it finally snows when I'm no longer living at home. But I'm glad she's happy about the snow. She was saying that she took pictures and all.

I live in Santa Cruz, CA and snow here is a once a year event. It normally doesn't fall in the city, rather on the hills surrounding Santa Cruz, and in the Santa Cruz Mountains north of the city. I remember as a child, my father had family in Dallas. We often went there for vacations. In the summer it would get so hot you would sleep with wet sheets at night. During one Christmas visit it snowed. Totally unexpected based on previous experience.

Yes there is crazy weather here too. I do remember though as a teen riding horses one day in shorts tshrt and barefooted and while we were out it started snowing! People looked at us crazy as we rode back towards the house freezing! We had put up all our winter clothes and it had been really warm prior to that.
Sometimes it is just hard to know what season of clothes to have ready to wear as it changes so quickly.

I have experienced a lot of crazy rainy weather lately. It is now January in my neck of the woods which happens to be the state of Alabama. I am from north up in Pennsylvania where the normal weather is snow and ice and freezing rain. We haven't been experiencing too much of snow but there has been wind and rain.
Finally today the weather calmed down a little bit and I saw some sunshine.

Wow, sunshine is good. I just wish to get some rain down here in Texas, and maybe a few days in a row, of cold weather. Now it just feels like summer and not even winter here. Maybe every now and then we will have cold weather.

Wow right now I wish we had some rain. That would be nice right now. But all we've been having is sunshine some warm or hot moments and a little cold weather here and there. Now, it should normally be cold here, but its like its just warm and stays there. It feels like summer here.
You're welcome to the response on your discussion and thanks for responding.

The weather has been absolutely crazy the past couple of weeks in East Tennessee. Last week we had ran/snow off and on one day. It snowed like crazy in the morning, then switched to rain and then snow and then nothing and then rain.....you get the idea. Then this week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, the temperature was in the 60's. In December. The week after it snowed. Last night, it snowed a little bit, and everything was frosted over this morning. The weather is nutty.

I just saw that New Orleans and Mississippi got snow recently. It didn't snow at all for the 6 years I lived in the South. Up here in Jersey it was really warm for one day this week and then the temps dropped back to freezing cold.

Yeah, I have a couple of friends in Louisianna that were telling me about the snow there too. My mom was telling me of the 1 inch of snow were she is and she's near the Louisianna border.

I'm in the Dallas area and we just went through that! LOL...one night was tornado weather but then the next day the temps dropped. They said we might see a "few" sleet pellets and snowflakes later that night. They also said it wouldn't last long and evaporate right away.
I should have taken a picture of what a "few" turned out to be. It just pelted against the windows and skylight. And the snowflakes were HUGE! We still had snow the next morning but it did melt away. I just don't think they expected it to last as long as it did. LOL

Wow, yeah my mom was telling me of the snow there and she was only able to see the snow while dark out and she took pictures of it. She was all excited, she wanted to send me some pictures but unfortunately the pics did not come out.
Looks like the snow passed as up just a tad here in San Antonio, there was only a bit of snow up in the hill area here and on the outskirts, but no were near were I was living. I was like oh man, I wanted some snow.

Texs is a beautiful state I enjoy it here so much. I've been here all my life, born and raised here, and I couldn't see myself leaving this awesome state to live somewhere else.

I totally hear what your saying. One day it's sleeting, the next day it's raining. No snow so far though, we have been fortunate in my area. I hate the snow!

I love snow, but I guess I'm in the wrong area to get any. I love cold weather over hot. But yep unpradectible weather here for sure.

here in colorado the saying goes 'if you don't like the weather than just wait five minutes'.... and it's usually true. what has seemed weird here so far this season is the fact that we usually have our first snow by halloween, and it didn't come until a couple weeks ago. we still don't really have snow staying on the ground, we have no moisture at all! and trust me it's dry enough here.... so winter is just crazy nonexistant weird here this year. it will snow a bit here and there but be 70 the next day. Not December weather for sure!

Texas weather. It gets like that sometimes here too. We never get snow though maybe once in a blue moon. But yeah the sun here could be all bright and shiny and you just poked your head out and then the next minute you look outside and it is dark and thunderstorm and raining outside.
