This year, finicial situation is quite bad. People suffer a lot during the hard time. Now many young people give up to find a job turn to further their study in the college. So more people than usual take college enter exam.
I now in the school, and will get my degree in the next three years. Though I can not lead a very good life, the effect of economic crisis does not have less to do with my life.
But giving up the chance to the society is the right choice?

Oh, you are my freinds now.
I know working experience is more important than a degree here in China. So if you can find a job , I think taking the job for at least two or three years and then think about what you want to do next is a good choice. But now 70% of my senior students tell that they can not find a job. It is impossible in the common years. As I am a plain girl, I do not think finding a job during the hard time is easy to me.
So I hope after I get my degree, situation become better and I can find a job.

Believe yourself is the first step to success.
30 years ago, many Chinese think have a good eduaction is the only way to be success. But now many successful people come out without recieving the college education. So now many young people think find a right time to start their own career is much moe important than ge the regular way.
Maybe present hard time can bring us not only an experience, but also a new way to see the life.
Best wishes to you.

In my view, going back to school is not a good way to handle the influence of economic crisis, but escape. I understand that it's hard to find a good job after graduation, especially when the economy is not that good. But don't forget the fact that more and more enterprises take working experience instead of degree seriously. If a person return to college not for the further study of knowledge, another degree will not help him or her a lot. The proper way is to reduce the expectation. Remember that accumulating experience is the priority.

More and more students in my college now prefer to study for a master degree than go out to get a job now. It seems that the start salary for a college graduate is very low now. Too less to support their own life. I think all of them know that working experience is very important, but they choose to stay in school and when the situation is much better and then go to get a job.
I think in China some people can get a good job for they have good dads, that makes many young man from poor background very uncomfortable. And study in college and have a higher degree many help them. Now many of them take toelf test and hope can have the chance to move aboard.

I am going back to school, but not because of the economic crisis, but because I want to change my career focus.

Thank you for your sharing.
Before changing a career, going back to school to learn some knowledge about the new field is a good choice. From that study, you can know at least the basic knowledge about what you will do, and check out whether it is fit for you. So you will not make a choice in a hurry. That is really good for you to start a new career.
Have a nice day.
Good wishes for you.

Honestly I think that getting a college degree probably won't help you have a secure job in the economy and how it is going right now. I think that it depends on what type of career and company you plan on working with. There are a lot of people that had college degrees I believe that have lost their jobs as well. I think that going to school is the best thing to do though, I plan on going next fall. I'm planning on going for early childhood education. I think the economy could never have too many teachers. I don't think also that people who are planning on going to college should give up on finding a job. I say that you should still keep up with the dream of going to school, but if you need to have a job to support yourself then you should continue to look for a job.

It seems that now teacher and doctoe are the best career. For no matter how hard the time is, they are still in need and will not lose their job.
To many young people, they realise that it is not a good time to make furtune now, so go back to college can give them a period to think what they want and what they should do clearly, and at the same time, they can get a degree which may help them have the advantage in the future competitive world. I am also having the same thought, so now stay in the college to get my degree.
Compared with those out of work while has nothing to do, stay in school to get a degree seems to be a better choice.
Thank you for your idea.
I like it.
have a nice day.

I think we should study new things in any time of our life. But I do not think go back to school in every scenario.
Go back to school is to give ourselve s a chance to think clear about our future , at the same time to learn somthing useful for the future.
If when we meet problems, we go back to school, it is only retreat.
