Itchy Skin During Winter?

The winter is so dry here that it's unbelievable! Not only the hair is dry, my skin starts to alert me by being very itchy. I put on body lotion and stuff but seem that it's not strong enough. If the situation continues, I know I am going to have some skin allergies again. So, is your skin itchy during season changes? Is your skin allergic from time to time?

At our place its so....so much dry that no lotions seem to be working, we have a massage oil which is prepared in sesame oil base with some herbs in it, that is only effective, rest of the products i find useless,though i have bottles of body lotions, they are only for emergency, if u have to go out in hurry...its ok..
