Why friends become competitor after graduate?

After graduate so many years, i just realize that regardless of how good with your friends, it will become competitor when concern about benefit. Isn't it stupid to treat them as friend?

yeah happens.
happened with me too
bcuz some ppl thng that careers are more important then the friends taht took us to the high level they are at!
i hate those kinda ppl
