Bible promotes Violence. Check these Verses.

It was really a shocking thing for me that the religion which claims to be most peaceful is having these verses in it Holy Book called Bible.
1) You must kill those who worship another god. Exodus 22:20
2) Kill any friends or family that worship a god that is different than your own. Deuteronomy 13:6-10
3) God destroys those who don’t believe in him. Jude 5
4) Kill anyone who refuses to listen to a priest. Deuteronomy 17:12-13
5) Kill everyone who has religious views that are different than your own. Deuteronomy 17:2-7
6) Kill all the inhabitants of any city where you find people that worship differently than you. Deuteronomy 13:12-16
The thing which really strikes out is the Deuteronomy 13:6-10 which tells you to kill friends and family that worship a different God. This is similar to Islam principle of Kafir.

First of all you can't live in the third stage of our world on second stage information. This is what you are doing. The first stage of the world was from Adam to Noah. The second stage was from Noah to Jesus and the third stage is from Jesus to the end of this world. Jesus' teaching in the New Testament is the information we need to live in this third stage our world is in right now. A lot of the information in the old Bible is the way it was done then, not the way we are supposed to do it now. The information we need to live in today's world is found in the first 5 books of the New Testament.
