There are many phishing sites and emails which use the sub-domains similar to reputed/branded companies.
Lets take an example:
www. reputedname .com/net is the address of the reputed company.
The scammers create sub-domains which are similar to the reputed company web address like
reputedname . 1x0 .com
reputedname . abcd .net
sometimes they even use http in the sub-domains:
http. www. reputedname. com. 0x. com/net/info
So please be careful while clicking the links within your email address.
Please check Full Headers of the email address if the email is from a bank, credit card or some reputed company which is asking/telling that your account is disabled or you are having an offer or won the prize etc.
Enable the Status Bar in your browser and check the option which does not allow javascript to modify the status message of the links.
Right click the link and select Properties to check the full linking location address to make it clear whether its a phishing email or not.
Kindly report the emails to the respective reputed companies of which the phishing emails imitate.
Have a Safe Internet.

It is not so easy to make out difference between the phishing and the original website.......they steel paswords and make people enter their bank account details in
their phishing websites.........
