When I was younger, there were certain families in my school that we always knew were not going to have many gifts for christmas because they were poorer... I live in a very poor county. So my mom always had me help her bake batches of cookies and some hot chocolate mix and write a little note to them. I also went through my toys and donated what I could no longer use to the community so that some other kid might get some enjoyment out of it. I still give back a lot. If I see a person who I know don't have much family and may not have something to eat on christmas, I bake an extra batch of cookies when I do bake my cookies and I put them in a nice bag or a decorative tin and take them to them. What about you? Do you and your family do anything like this?
