JK Rowling´s new book is ¨The Tales of Beedle the Bard¨ which was released last year on December. There were only seven copies in the whole world. She has given six of them to her friends and one of them is now on auction (maybe still in auction) in which the money from there would be given to charity. The book is handwritten by Rowling herself. It won´t probably be available in ebooks (on internet) because the book itself is priceless that I don´t know who would want to share it to the rest of the fans.

Hello Anne18
The book is called The Tales of Beedle the Bard. My brother has bought it for one of my sons for Christmas but I have no clue what it is about, not a clue. As my son is only 5 I will have to read it to him so I will let you know what it is about later.
On the back of the book it says:-
The Tales of Beedle the Bard contains five richly diverse fairy tales, each with its's own magical character, that will variously bring delight, laughter and the thrill of mortal peril.
Additional notes for each story penned by Professor Albus Dumbledore will be enjoyed by Muggles and wizards alike, as the Professor muses on the morals illuminated by the tales, and reveals snippets of information about life at Hogwarts.
A uniquely magical volume, with illustrations by the author, J.K. Rowling, that will be treasured for years to come.
£1.61 form the sale of each book goes to the Children's High Level Group.

Would that be "Tales of Beedle the Bard"?
I ordered that, didn't have a chance to read it yet though, since I'm just finishing the Twilight series, as well as starting "Zombie Haiku" - I got that at a gift exchange from a "Gothmas" party, which i highly suggest that everyone have, it was fun!
But yeah, Beedle the Bard is a character within the Harry Potter series, you don't meet him there or anything, just a book within a book, that Albus Dumbledore helped write I think.
I can't wait to read it!

I didn't even know that she had another book. I thought the last one was the end of her Harry Potter series but if this isn't about Harry, or he isn't in it anyway, then I guess you can't really say it's part of the series, but about the series. I am not a fan of Harry myself, but I am curious as to what the book entails.

I haven't read the book yet either, but I am a big Harry Potter fan and am planning on buying it and reading as soon as possible. By the way, it's called "The Tales of Beetle the Bard".
