I missed my mother's cooked meals, too. But sadly, she can't cook for us now because she's having a hard time with her hands. She's old and has arthritis. What we do, is cook for her to make her feel that we care for her and love her. She just tells us what to do with cooking, sort of supervising us how to cook.
Good day!

My mom started teaching me how to cook when I was 9. I vaguely remember that she was a good cook, but she hasn't done any cooking for a very long time. There are several things that she taught me to cook that always make me think of her though.

Isn't if funny how we grown up on the food that our parents cook, which is probably food that their parents made for them, and we then crave it when we move out. I still make alot of the things that my mom and dad made for dinner when we were kids. And do you agree that your families holiday meals are always better then someone that you grew up with but didn't eat what their families cooked. I always say that my parents Thanksgiving dinner is better then my husbands parents but again I think its because that is what we grow up on and learned to like or love....Call and get that recipe!!!!

What is porridge? I've seen it on TV sometimes when the little children are eating it, but I don't know what it is or I don't know anyone that makes it here.
